As part of our ongoing collaboration with Kokutaiji High School (KHS) in Hiroshima Japan, seven KHS students had the unique opportunity to travel to the USA and take part in a demonstration of low-cost accessible space exploration using high altitude balloon launches equipped with HD cameras. From this, our BCA students plan to develop joint experiments with KHS students for the 2012-13 school year that would be conducted on the rigs of the high altitude balloons. BCA students have been invited to present at a science convention in Hiroshima, Japan November 2012.
