The Bergen County Technical High School - Teterboro, one of three secondary schools in the Bergen County Technical Schools District, is a free public high school of choice for Bergen County residents. Offering nine (9) specialized programs in Aerospace Engineering, Automotive Engineering & Design, Commercial Art & Graphic Design, Computer Science, Culinology®, Digital Media Arts, Fashion Art, Design, & Merchandising, Law & Justice, and Strategic Asset Management, students follow a coherent scope and sequence of courses, many of which are Advanced Placement or articulated with a post-secondary institution; preparation that yields a 100% graduation rate, along with 100% of the graduates attending colleges or universities.
Out of 21,000 public high schools in 49 states & DC, the Bergen County Technical High School - Teterboro has been named #73 nationally and #5 in NJ. In order to determine the rankings, US News & World Report uses a three-step process. The first two steps ensured that the schools serve all of their students well, using performance on state proficiency tests as the benchmarks. For those schools that made it past the first two steps, a third step assessed the degree to which schools prepare students for college-level work.
