Within this mission is a dynamic plan for our students and our teachers.
- Our students will learn how to learn for a world that continues to evolve and change. Students will become immersed in applied learning experiences that strive to utilize the latest technologies, equipment, and facilities that will define tomorrow’s workplace.
- Our students will work and learn in career-specific labs and classrooms that mirror the work environments of various trade and technical occupations.
- Our students will engage in academics and collaborative, interdisciplinary activities in an effort to develop the interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills that are key assets for success in a global workplace.
- Our students will develop strong ethical and professional decision-making skills in order to facilitate success in a diversified workplace.
- Our teachers will craft curriculum and assessments that support the development of the knowledge base represented by the New Jersey Core Content Curriculum Standards.
- Our teachers will expand instruction to develop in students a knowledge base that includes the core values and skills required in the workplace of today and envisioned for the workplace of tomorrow.
- Our teachers and support staff will collaborate with working professionals to continually refine program curriculum, deliver relevant career-focused instruction, provide work experiences and internships for students, and create opportunities for future employment or employment combined with adult support services.
- Our teachers will develop programs that serve as models to the professional community and equally support and develop differentiated, career-focused experiences for students of multiple academic levels and learning styles.
