Classroom Close-up Culinology

NJEA Classroom Close-up came back to Bergen Tech Teterboro for a third time, to highlight our Culinology program. Filming included the students performing Culinology experiments dealing with food science and the use of the newest top-of-the-line equipment.

Culinology® is the blending of food technology and culinary arts. Culinologists use their knowledge of food science and their skill in the culinary arts in the commercial development of new products and processes. A culinologist has the opportunity to work at major food manufacturers, custom manufacturing facilities, etc, making a salary anywhere from $45,000 to $100,000 a year, with weekends and holidays off.
