In January, AP English Language students Ivana Bozinovska, Gabriela Vicoroska, Garry Blum, and David Yu presented an original lesson on how Martin Luther King, Jr. uses rhetorical strategies in his “Letter from Birmingham Jail” (to grade 9 Law and Justice students).  Ivana, Gaby, Garry, and David prepared analysis of rhetorical appeals, imagery, figurative language, sentence style, and sermon-like structural patterns that convey King’s message.  This presentation demonstrated the effectiveness of King’s rhetorical choices and the value of incorporating these strategies into one’s own writing style.  Terrific work!
