On Monday 3/20 recently exonerated Rodney Roberts came to BT to speak with the law and justice major about his ordeal. Mr Roberts spent 17 year in a NJ prison for a crime he didn't commit. He advocated for his innocence by learning to become a paralegal in prison eventually gaining the attention of The Innocence Project who advocated on his behalf. Eventually Mr Roberts was exonerated. He spoke honestly to the students about his experience and the students and faculty will never forget him and there is a renewed commitment to pursue social justice.
