On April 7th-10th, BT senior Joe Cioffari and his teammates rowed 1 million meters relay style in order to raise money for a new boat and 22TooMany.

A study released by the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) and the Department of Defense (DoD) show that every day approximately 22 military service members take their own lives. There are a number of reasons for this startling statistic, among them: post-traumatic stress (PTS), the effects of traumatic brain injury (TBI), challenges of adjustment and transition after returning home from a deployment, and the negative stigma in the military community around seeking help. Veterans are not the only ones suffering. The families are left suffering from complicated grief long after the loss of a loved one. Nereid Boat Club has partnered with 22TooMany to help raise awareness for PTSD and help grieving military families. Congrats to Joe and his teammates!
