On Monday June 4th and Tuesday June 5th the 9th and 10th grade law students participated in the annual Law & Justice program debate.

The students debated the 6th amendment right to effective assistance of counsel as presented in the case of McCoy v Louisiana. The class was privileged to have a special guest at the law debate, the defense attorney for Mr McCoy, who came to BT at the invitation of the 10th grade law class. He was incredibly impressed by the students coherent arguments and said he has hope for the future of our nation if these young people are going to be future lawyers.
