Congratulations Isabella Impalli (ABF 2018)  and Katherine Dai (AMST 2018) for being recently named Siemens Semifinalists for their biology project research over the past three years.

The Siemens competition was launched by the Siemens Foundation in 1999 and is the Foundation's symbol of commitment to STEM education.  Each year several thousand projects are entered and approximately 350 are named Semifinalists’ projects.  Isabella studied: The Mechanism and Application of RNAIII-Inhibiting Peptide on Staphylococcal Biofilms.  Katherine studied: Targeting PINK1: Exploiting Mitochondria-Dependent Apoptotic and Metabolic Mechanisms in NSCLC.
